Some Beezwax Records are pre-assembled for the retail market. In such cases we choose names from literature, history, and imagination to put on each one. You may use our Beeline page to suggest a new name. You may also purchase a Beezwax Record with your own name on it, or that of a friend. Since no distributor has yet proven able or willing to handle this process, please contact us directly if you want a Beezwax Record with a particular name on it. Here's a list of the names we've used for our pre-assembled records so far:
Without question, the recording industry is historically steeped in mass production, not unlike the food and soap industries. But a musical recording is inherently different. A musical recording is meant to last. And so Beezwax Records, for the first time we know of, is attempting to take this typically mass produced item and put it together one at a time, with a personal name on each copy.
